Les Miserable: A new way to produce a musical
So it's been a while since I've written anything, and this post will be different from my past posts. I saw Les Miserables , on 12/27/2012 with three of my good friends from high school. We went to a 10:10 pm showing and were in an uncrowded theater. Several of my good friends from college saw the movie before I was able to and told me it was a great film, but not to expect the 25th anniversary voices. With that knowledge, and my own assumptions based on the film/stage history of the actors and actresses in the film I went in with an open mind. This was an all-star cast, an intense musical score, and a huge opportunity to fail. I will only be covering the main and key roles. Jean Valjean: Hugh Jackman had quite a role to step into.
